In February 1999, at the Toy Fair in Nürnberg, ESU introduced their first product to a world public: The LokSound "classic" decoder combined the Digital decoder and a Sound module in one unit. Thus it was possible for the first time, to reproduce, beside the Light-and running functions, the true sounds of a Loco. The LokSound decoder was one of the first Multi- Protocol decoders that made it possible to operate on DCC, as well as on Märklin-Motorola-Layouts. The Lok Pilot that was introduced in 2001 had automatic DCC-step recognition, and thus made life for beginners or converts much easier. Since then the world's biggest model railroad manufacturers build upon ESU competence and put ESU products into their locos, or have us develop their Digital Systems for them. 	ECoS Boost is an external booster for our ECoS command station. We will offer it in two versions: The "small" 4 amp version is perfect for H0 or smaller scales, while the 8 Amp version offers sufficient power for garden railways. As the ECoS, each ECoSBoost comes with an Australian approved power supply.

	Mobile Control communicates with a base station, which in turn is connected to the bus for handheld or stationary controllers of your digital system. This base station works with all devices with X-bus or 12C-bus, particularly: Maerklin 6021, Arnold digital, Uhlenbrock Intellibox, Lenz digital plus, Roco LokMaus II. Mobile Control communicates with the digital system like any wired controller. Each base station can support up to 4 mobile control units, which will be configured automatically- up to a maximum of 4 base stations within a radius of about 100 meters. In other words you could have a total of 16 (!) mobile controllers operating in the same area at the same time.

	The new Switch Pilot is is a multiprotocol (Märklin®Motorola and DCC) accessory decoder with 8 outputs (sufficient to control 4 switches / points). Because of this intelligent software, it can not only control solenoids, but also other consumers like couplers, lights and so on. SwitchPilot is a mixture of the popular k83 and the k84 decoders and also offers a top feature: SwitchPilot can control up to two "normal" RC-servos. These servos are affordable and offer a very realistic, slow motion switch control! An extension module can be attached to the side of the Switch Pilot, offering 4 relay outputs.
