E9070 - N GAUGE RAIL VACUUM CLEANER WAGON with SSF-09
Track vacuum cleaner wagon (Art.-No. 9070)
analog and digital for all N-track and control systems.
With SSF-09 control electronics (automatic start/stop function) and Faulhaber1 engine.
With the track vacuum cleaner wagon you remove on your track systems ...
Dust and dirt particles from the circulating air and off-road construction
... and thus achieve: Functional safety of model railway vehicles
safe power consumption from the rail Trouble-free digital operation
The mobile and fully functional Lux track vacuum cleaner wagon for all gauge N-track and control systems was created especially for the removal of loose dust and dirt particles in the entire track area. Experience has shown that it is precisely these dirt deposits from the circulating air and off-road construction that impair the safe function of the fine mechanical components (gearboxes, coupling rods, axle bearings, current contacts, etc.). Even the finest dirt on the rail head can lead to significant operational disruptions.
The innovative and reliable cleaning technology of the Lux track vacuum cleaner trolley is installed in a rail vehicle, so that even particularly inaccessible areas of your model railway system such as tunnel lines, shadow stations and overhead rail tracks can be cleaned without any problems. The maintenance-free operating times of the rail vehicles can thus be significantly increased.
The track vacuum cleaner trolley is supplied with electricity via the driving voltage and can be towed or pushed by commercially available railcars. It has no drive to move around. The vehicle is equipped with a 4-point current consumption. The cleaning technology is powered by a long-lasting and maintenance-free bell anchor motor (Faulhaber1).
The innovative control electronics SSF-09 (Automatic Start/Stop Function) works motion-oriented. When the car is moved on the power-supplied track (pulled or pushed by a locomotive), the cleaning technology switches on automatically. If the moving, activated cleaning trolley comes to a standstill (e.g. signal stop), the cleaning technology switches off automatically. The cleaning trolley can be used on analogue and digitally controlled systems.
The brush frame (see picture) is fixed to the chassis floor interchangeably. This ensures an optimal mode of action of the brush at threshold height. The suction brush removes the finest particles from the threshold grate and the rail. The dirt particles are fed into a collection container via the suction nozzle. The sucked-in air escapes from the dust container via a microfilter in the cover.
A Fe1 N scrap collector (Art. No. 9075) is available as an accessory kit for all N-track vacuum cleaner wagons for the collection of ferrous deposits (nails, screws, chips) in the whole track area. Attention! Only limited use for reed contacts.
