Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) IC control car Bpmbdzf 296.1, 2nd class, for long-distance traffic. Light grey long-distance traffic colouring with traffic red decorative stripe, in the current IC design. Car run: IC 2013 from Dortmund to Oberstdorf. Car serial number 5. The car looks as it did in 2003.

A normal coupling can be used for attaching to a locomotive by removing a panel on the driver's cab side. Printed wagon route signs. Minimum radius of 360 mm that can be driven on.
